Bring the kids to this family-oriented, interactive Andean arts experience with Peruvian artist Veronica Killawawa, who brings the sounds, symbols, and stories of the Andes to life through music, dance, painting, ceramics, and interactive cultural activities. Set before a symbol-filled Andean-themed backdrop, Killawawa shares stories about the meanings behind the imagery and performs on traditional instruments like the zampoña (Andean panpipes) and bombo. Children can also try out the zampona themselves and have their faces painted with Andean-inspired designs.
