Peruvian musician Richie Olivera picked up the quena and zampoña as a 12-year-old child living in Lima and he hasn’t stopped playing since. In 2007, he moved to New Jersey, bringing his talent, passion for music, and the unique sounds of traditional Andean flutes with him. He performs as a solo act and with his trio, blending traditional South American traditions with other genres and sharing his gifts with the world.
